Anti-squeal film for brake pads
Apply the anti-squeal film to the back plate if the brakes are squealing.
The film consists of various material layers that absorb the squealing.

Squealing is caused by the stimulation of the system during a braking manoeuvre and the resulting vibrations.
These produce sound waves that are audible within a frequency range.
Because all unsprung masses affect the stimulation of the system, the frequency changes as a result of the changes within the system.
This includes for example tyre pressure, the brake caliper mounting, the make-up of the brake disc and whether the hydraulic system is functioning without any issues.The speed at which a braking manoeuvre is initiated also affects the frequency range.
In many cases pads with a different friction coefficient can have a positive impact.
